I went to Echo Park Rising last year and it was a really fun neighborhood music event. I went in the afternoon, parked up the road off of sunset. I went knowing I wanted to walk around and get exercise while hearing some bands. There are stages in shops, restaurants and actual music venues. The variety is awesome and there are tons of food trucks. The people watching is incredible, as you can imagine, and it’s all right by Echo Park Lake so you can take breaks and walk down to the water. Check out HERE for the lineup of bands and they even let you create a schedule for where you need to be at what times to see the bands you want. Oh did I mention this is all FREE!
